Tanya, I know where you stand from a religious perspective…but I want you to know that the Lord has truly used this for me. I love when you do videos like this and I hope you are encouraged to keeep them up. One bad moment doesn't define your motherhood. I apologize a lot to my ADHD child. He prays for me often (he's 8!). And I tell him I will fail alot and to give me grace and in the same way I will give the gift of grace and prayer to him. We are not perfect but loving him well is my hearts desire and I make sure he knows that. Tfs!

I am not trying to be rude because I ADHD myself, but I do feel bad for you that. I undersrand your trying and you should keep doing what your doing, but the reason I am saying this is because I know much troblue I am to my parents.

Edit: I am not trying to be rude because I have ADHD myself, but I do feel bad for you that you have to deal with it. I undersrand your trying and you should keep doing what your doing, but the reason I am saying this is because I know much troblue I am to my parents.

thank you for this, I really feel better after hearing you speak. I recognized adhd in my husband years ago. suddenly I realized my son might be. I'm fairly certain now that he is and I am too! We struggle so much to deal with our huge emotions and I never understood why I was struggling so much with my own interior emotional life. I tried therapy, was diagnosed with GAD, but nothing really ever fully fit.
I was always the "weirdo", my 1st grade teacher put my desk in the centre of the room so I wouldn't talk, I was bullied in grade 4 and 8….omg, this makes so much sense.
sorry all this is rushing to me in real time. in the middle of a trigger. thank you for this brilliant video. You've left me with a banquet of thought! xoxo
it's a big awakening but it could explain a lot. God bless you xoxo

I'm glad that you did this video, I'm not a parent but I have adhd that went undiagnosed until adulthood, some of my friends have adhd as well, giving their children a far increased chance of having adhd brains.
This vlog really made me think of a lot of the ways I was treated growing up, and about how to encourage myself and others to approach adhd children and better contextualize the world for our type of thought patterns.
Neurotypical people, and adhd people alike have a limited understanding of our differences, and I'm confident your video will help bridge that gap of understanding. Much love.
