As the platform of opening up in Zhe Jiang, the symposium and the fair become influential economic events in China and promote economy in Zhe Jiang. Zhe Jiang people considered them as economic engine and driving force of economic development. In 9 years, totally, 2798 projects funded by foreign investment were signed and contracted foreign investment reached US $ 24.7 billion at the symposiums. For the fairs, which were held at the same time with the symposiums since 2002. Total trade value reached US $ 4.69 Billion. Over 77000 foreign businessmen form 109 countries and regions took part in the fairs.
