A video a friend of mine took way back in June 2011. My friend’s family found this cat named Momo in their lawn one morning. Momo had her arms and legs bound tightly with rubber bands that it cut through her skin and twisted her bones. My friend and her family brought Momo to the vet and after 5 days, Momo stopped eating and drinking. The vet suggested to put Momo to sleep as it was the best thing to do for this innocent and traumatized cat. Momo was burried in the park nearby. For more details and photos of Momo, kindly read my blog post ‘Momo, a Malaysian cat tortured alive, saved and later buried in June 2011′ tatiambia.blogspot.com Please forward this video to all. I shall forward this video and blog post to all local NGOs, DVS and PETA Asia Pacific. Animal abuse in Malaysia has to end now.

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre in Sarawak, Malaysia is an excellent place to see semi-wild orangutans. The centre was set up in 1975 to care for wild animals that had been found injured, orphaned or kept as illegal pets. Today over 20 orangutans that have been successfully rehabilitated roam free in the surrounding forest reserve. The orangutans often return to the centre at feeding times, providing visitors with unique wildlife watching experiences. Borneo Adventure operate regular tours to Semenggoh, if you want to get up close with orangutans, email us on info@borneoadventure.com.
